Senior Systems Engineer - CNODDS

Overview:
By Light is seeking a Senior System Engineer candidate to provide engineering support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
The candidate is expected to participate in regular meetings with internal program staff, teammates, and the government client on a frequent basis and is expected to deliver client value for the Cyber Situational Awareness/NetOps Division.
Effective communication skills are essential for working among a blended prime/subcontractor program team and developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Leads and executes efforts to produce documentation.
Collaborates with project stakeholders and technical staff to elicit, define, and document requirements from which training software will be developed.
Works with the development team to communicate and ensure functional requirements are unambiguous and testable.
Assists in the creation of acceptance test cases to verify the model, validate that its processes are functioning as expected, and requirements have been met.
Required Experience/
Qualifications:
8
years of system engineering experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or a related fieldWorking knowledge Microsoft Office Tools; specifically, PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience/
Qualifications:
DoD and/or Government program experience preferred Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
Top Secret clearance requiredSome travel may be requiredBy Light does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; vaccination requirements and testing are subject to the status of the federal contractor mandate and customer site requirements; testing is at the cost of the employee.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
